afl-clang software package provides instrumentation-driven fuzzer for binary formats - clang support, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install afl-clang
afl-clang is installed in your system.
Make ensure the afl-clang package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep afl-clang *
You will get with afl-clang package name, version, architecture and description in a table
